New York Yankees Pikachu Shirt

Ugh, traffic was insane this morning, my latte splashed all over my new shirt – seriously, the worst start to a Monday – phone buzzing with work emails, some ridiculous office gossip about Brenda’s new hair, grabbing a soggy bagel on the way, and then I was planning this crazy trip to Japan, you know, always wanted to see the Ghibli Museum…and then I saw it. A flash of electric yellow on some guy’s back, and there it was, my mind stopped short, a New York Yankees Pikachu Shirt. Seriously, the most unexpected thing I’d seen all week – it totally turned my mood around after the morning disaster.

It’s like, who knew the perfect blend of baseball, electric rodents, and pure awesome existed? I mean, I’m not even a huge Yankees fan, but that New York Yankees Pikachu Shirt?
